Wayne is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Curtis Nowack, and their
beloved pets Penny, Pookers and Sasquatch. Wayne loved the natural
world. He felt fortunate to have lived in many beautiful areas of this
country including the forests of Vermont and the cliffs of Big Sur, CA,
but it was the hills around our home in West Danby, which he had named
Lovearth, that captured his heart and his creative imagination and
provided the inspiration for his work of the last thirty years.
Those wishing to remember Wayne are asked to consider memorial gifts to
the SPCA of Tompkins County or the Friends of the Library in memory of
Wayne Nowack.
A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced later.
